Brief Description

To enhance support mechanisms for victims of online gender-based violence, multiple complaint and assistance channels have been established. The Online Gender-Based Violence (Kekerasan Berbasis Gender Online/KBGO) Taskforce, operational since 2021, provides assistance through its Instagram platform and addressed 163 cases in its first year. SafeNet operates an online complaint platform, while Girl Up Southeast Asia has implemented campus-based hotline initiatives. Furthermore, ICT Watch launched a dedicated microsite containing educational resources and a directory of service institutions to facilitate reporting and response to online violence.
